Remote Learning

Remote Learning is the term used for study undertaken by correspondence or externally of a course venue. Once a student has completed an enrolment form and we have receipted payment, all course material will be sent out.  

With the exception of the Elements of Shipboard Safety ie Liferafting, Firefighting and 1st Aid Level 2 and the Onboard Delphinus requirements all other modules may be studied out of the classroom.   

Should a student wish to join in on a class that is scheduled, they can do so by making such arrangements with this office.  We recommend students work through the course a module at a time. Once they feel ready to sit an examination they only need contact this office to arrange a time and place that is convenient to both parties.  

Examinations may be taken in the classroom with a scheduled course at one of our venues or in our office here in Geelong.   Tuition can be arranged to go over any part of the course students maybe having difficulties with by contacting our office to make arrangements. The study at home modules are:          

 Coxswain Course     

 Nautical Knowledge, Engineering Knowledge, Marine Radiotelephone Operations    (MROCP)

Coastal Navigation, Radar, Ship Knowledge, Nautical Knowledge
